8/22/2010 - Abby is a sweetie-pie that loves attention and loves to play with her brother, Alex. Abby and Alex were introduced to plush toys for the first time and they couldn't get enough! They carried a pumpkin plush around that was as big as them, trying to shake it and throw it! It was adorable! Abby and Alex both had worms, so they were eating like little piggies. They were treated for worms and fleas, and received their first round of vaccines on 8/21/2010. They will both be visiting the "dogtor" this week to have fecal exams and to be sterilized. Please email us today for an application for Miss Abby and Mister Alex! They will bring you years of love and companionship!
8/19/2010 - Meet Abby, one of our newest black lab pups! Abby and Alex are just 7 weeks old and are lovable little pups! Abby and Alex were born to a litter of five and all five puppies were dumped in a high kill shelter in the Panhandle earlier this week. All of the siblings are being rescued this weekend and Abby and Alex will join the ranks at Central Florida Animal Rescue, Inc. where they will receive the love and care that they have not yet received in their short lives.
Abby and Alex will both be treated for fleas, wormed with fecal exams, be up-to-date on their vaccinations, including Bordatella, and will be sterilized prior to their adoption. Each puppy's adoption fee is $150.00. While we would love for the puppies to be adopted together, this is not required.

9/3/2010 - Tiger Lily and Sadie are completely over their respiratory infections and are making great strides with socializing! They are still too little to be spayed, but will be vaccinated and tested for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia this week. Please email us today to take one of these babies home "furever!"
8/19/2010 - Unfortunately, Tiger Lily and Sadie are struggling to adjust in their foster home, causing their bodies to stress. This stress has manifested into a respiratory infection for both kittens. They are responding well to treatment and our veterinarian expects them to make a full recovery in about a week's time. This illness has, however, slowed down their socialization, which is still in need of work. At this time, we are going to place these kittens on hold until September 1, 2010, when we expect that they will be doing better. This will give both kittens time to heal and get used to human contact after losing their mother. Please keep these kittens in your prayers and check back for updates.
7/30/2010
- Meet Tiger Lily and Sadie, two of our newest baby kittens! Tiger Lily and Sadie were found next to a warehouse searching for food with
their feral mother. These beautiful babies are just 5 weeks old and
are adjusting in their new foster home. Our veterinarian has
estimated their date of birth to be 6/25/2010. Their mother will be
spayed, sparing any future offspring the fate of Tiger Lily and Sadie's
sibling, who was found too late.
Tiger
Lily and Sadie will be ready for adoption on 8/20/2010. These little
girls will both be tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS, treated
for worms, up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed prior to adoption.

Original Bio - Meet Elliott, a five-week-old baby rescued with his two siblings on
4/19/2010 from certain death in the wild. Elliott and his siblings were
found by chance while our volunteers were rescuing a mother and three
(3) two-week-old kittens next door. Playing against an apartment building in the
brush were Elliott and his siblings, completely oblivious to our
volunteers! Luckily we were able to bring them in, as a torrential
storm that night would surely have killed them.
Elliott is a submissive, happy little guy, though still nervous with
humans. He is also very observant, like his brother Calvin.
Weighing in at just under a pound, he is slightly bigger than his
brother Calvin, but smaller than his sister Olivia. Elliott and his
siblings have a severe respiratory infection
that we are confident they will beat. They have been prescribed two
different antibiotics and are now eating regularly in a warm, dry,
loving foster home.
Our veterinarian estimates Elliott and his siblings date of birth to be
March 15, 2010. They will be available for adoption on May 10, 2010,
but we are currently accepting adoption application for them. Before
being adopted, Elliott and his siblings will be up-to-date with
vaccinations, will be sterilized and dewormed. They have tested
negative for Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS. Elliott's adoption fee
will be $80.00.

7/18/2010
- Joey is hoping for a forever family where he is not outnumbered by
girls! Joey and his litter are now 14 weeks old. He and his sisters
have heard that many families don't want black cats because of
superstitions. Joey wants to tell everyone out there that black cats
are the best cats! No one will love you like a rescued black cat!
Joey's adoption fee has been lowered to $60.00!!! Email us today for an adoption contract!
Meet Joey, a handsome little guy surrounded by girls!!!! Joey and his
four sisters were rescued from a horrendous situation, where they lived
outdoors, covered in fleas and slept in their own filth. The only home
these babies had known was a small, blue recycling bin. They were all
too happy a few hours after being bathed, dried and fed in their foster
home. The five siblings cuddled up on a soft comforter and fell
asleep, content.
Joey and his sisters were born on 4/7/2010, making them just four weeks
old. They are all a black / charcoal color with gorgeous faces.
Surprisingly, they all happily ate soft kitten food their first evening
in their foster home, although all they had ever known was how to nurse
from their mother. Joey and his sisters have beautiful blue eyes,
though we expect them to change colors as they get older! They are
sweethearts and are happiest cuddled to your chest.
Joey and his sisters will be ready for adoption on 6/4/2010. They will
be spayed and neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, and

Meet Crosby, a fearless little guy that
loves to pounce on his sister, Giselle. Crosby was rescued with his
siblings, Giselle and John John, on April 19, 2010, at the age of three
weeks old. John John, Crosby, and Giselle had a severe respiratory
infection and our veterinarian wasn't sure that these babies would be
able to pull through. But, with an intense determination, these three
babies are now five weeks old and happy and healthy! They beat the
odds are are nearly ready for their new homes!
John John, Crosby, and Giselle's mother was unable to be captured with
her kittens, as she was extremely feral and evaded our traps. We are
confident that we will get her in the coming weeks, but she has eluded
us to this point. Luckily, another nursing mother, Serena, took these
three babies in and happily provided them with nourishment.
Crosby and his siblings will be ready for adoption on May 24, 2010.
They will be vaccinated and sterilized before going to their new
homes. Their adoption fees will be $80.00 each. Email us for an

Meet Serena, one of the most compassionate cats we have ever met!
Serena is the biological mother of Olivia, Elliott, and Calvin. Serena
happily came with our volunteers when they rescued her and her babies.
Serena was happy for a nice place to relax! When she heard the three
smaller kittens crying in the carrier next to her, she got very
anxious. Very carefully, we let her sniff Giselle and she immediately
took her to let her nurse! She followed suit with John John and
Crosby, as you can see in the photo. Serena saved these kittens' lives
by being a wonderful surrogate mommy!
Our veterinarian
has estimated Serena to be just about one year old, maybe younger.
Olivia, Elliott, and Calvin may have just been her second litter and,
luckily she will never have to birth another litter in your life!
Serena is very sweet, but does NOT like dogs. She will need to go to a
home without dogs. She craves attention and loves to cuddle with her
foster mother. It is obvious that Serena was abandoned and not feral.
She loves people!
Serena has tested negative for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia. Serena
is now up-to-date on her vaccinations and will be sterilized once the
kittens are weaned. Serena's adoption fee is $60.00. She will make a

loving home. Donate below and list Kiki's name in the memo so that we
can be sure that she receives your generous donation.
Have you fallen in love with one of our pets, but don't have the ability at this time to take him/her home? Could you, instead, assist us in providing them with life-saving veterinary bills? Any amount that you could spare to help the animals is a heroic donation made to assist the animal in finding his furever home. 100% of your donations go directly to assist in medical bills for our animals. Is there a specific animal that you want to make a donation for? List the name of the animal in the notes of your donation. Thank you for making the difference in the life of an animal.
Thank you for helping us!
If you are interested in bringing any of our pets home as furever pets, please email us for an adoption application!
